Over the last ten years, Piet pioneered Demand Sensing, the first demand-related AI application, working with companies like P&G, Unilever, Shell, Mars, and Merck. From this experience, he founded Garvis in 2020, during the pandemic. There, leveraging Gen AI, he launched the market’s first AI demand planning solution able to create a digital language to translate the outside world into actionable insights in demand planning. Garvis grew to more than 70+ customers in less than three years and was acquired by Logility in 2023, integrating the power of an AI solution across Logility’s platform solutions.
